Friday, June 26, 7:28 a.m. — Larceny: A bicycle and lock valued at approximately $500 were stolen from a sidewalk on Hamlin Street.
Friday, June 26, 8:03 a.m. — Larceny from Motor Vehicle (unfounded report): An employee of a Kendall Street business reported their vehicle had been broken into inside a nearby garage and a computer stolen; the report was determined to be unfounded.
Friday, June 26, 8:18 a.m. — Arrest: A warrant stop at the intersection of Day Street and Massachusetts Avenue. James Hook, 58, of Somerville, was charged with an outstanding warrant out of Boston Municipal Court.
Friday, June 26, 8:57 a.m. — Threat to Commit Crime: A Columbia Street resident reported that a known person had made verbal threats against them.
Friday, June 26, 9:37 a.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $800 was stolen from a bike rack in front of a Massachusetts Avenue business.
Friday, June 26, 9:59 a.m. — Package Theft: A package containing $15 in merchandise was stolen from the front of a residence on Webster Avenue.
Friday, June 26, 11:36 a.m. — Identity Fraud: A Rindge Avenue resident reported an unknown person attempted to steal $3,388.82 from a bank account in their name.
Friday, June 26, 12:08 p.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $2,000 was stolen from a storage room at a Columbia Street residence.
Friday, June 26, 1:09 p.m. — Larceny: A Hilliard Place resident reported their bicycle was stolen from a sidewalk in front of a Massachusetts Avenue business.
Friday, June 26, 1:11 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: An unknown person entered the locker room of a Central Square business without permission.
Friday, June 26, 1:15 p.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle on Roberts Road was struck, causing damage; the at-fault driver fled.
Friday, June 26, 1:50 p.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle on Seventh Street was struck, causing damage; the at-fault driver fled.
Friday, June 26, 2:05 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Summons: A Lynn resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, following a traffic stop on Massachusetts Avenue.
Friday, June 26, 2:15 p.m. — Online Rental Scam: A Boston resident reported losing $6,200 in a deposit made on an apartment listing that was not available to rent.
Friday, June 26, 2:28 p.m. — Online Fraud: A reporting person paid $1,500 for an online service that was never delivered.
Friday, June 26, 2:35 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $50 in merchandise from a Somerville Avenue business and fled.
Friday, June 26, 2:37 p.m. — Assault and Battery: A reporting person at a Brattle Street business stated they were physically assaulted by an unknown suspect after asking the suspect to leave the premises.
Friday, June 26, 5:10 p.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle on Plympton Street was struck, causing damage; the at-fault driver fled.
Friday, June 26, 7:14 p.m. — Larceny / Assault: Police responded to the area of Winthrop Park near the intersection of JFK Street and Mt. Auburn Street for a disturbance; one involved person had threatened another with a cane during an argument over money.
Friday, June 26, 11:50 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Theft: A moped valued at approximately $1,000 was stolen from a bike rack at a parking lot near Pacific Street.
Saturday, June 27, 12:04 a.m. — Assault with a Dangerous Weapon: An unknown suspect threw glass bottles at a victim on Cambridge Street and fled.
Saturday, June 27, 12:06 a.m. — Larceny: An e-bike valued at $1,200 was stolen from a street sign at the intersection of Talbot Street and Waverly Street.
Saturday, June 27, 12:52 a.m. — Larceny: A victim reported their laptop computer was stolen from inside a JFK Street business in Harvard Square.
Saturday, June 27, 4:11 a.m. — Larceny: A passport and $2,000 cash were stolen from inside a residence on Irving Street.
Saturday, June 27, 5:43 a.m. — Larceny from Person: An unknown suspect stole a cell phone valued at $800 from a victim seated on a bench in Central Square.
Saturday, June 27, 8:41 a.m. — Vandalism / Assault with a Dangerous Weapon: On Putnam Avenue, a cyclist riding erratically stopped and threw a brick at a victim's vehicle.
Saturday, June 27, 9:18 a.m. — Malicious Destruction of Property: Multiple vine plants on a Traymore Street property were cut down and thrown onto the yard.
Saturday, June 27, 10:10 a.m. — Breaking and Entering: An unknown suspect broke into the basement of a residence on Hollis Street; checks and a grinder tool were stolen.
Saturday, June 27, 10:19 a.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $1,999 was stolen from outside a residence on Green Street.
Saturday, June 27, 10:41 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Theft: A moped valued at $1,050 was stolen from outside a residence on Hardwick Street.
Saturday, June 27, 11:13 a.m. — Hit and Run: A cyclist struck a vehicle in traffic near the intersection of Plympton Street and Mt. Auburn Street, causing damage, and fled.
Saturday, June 27, 12:01 p.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $3,000 was stolen from outside a residence on Elm Street.
Saturday, June 27, 12:32 p.m. — Trespass: Police responded to an Alewife Brook Parkway business on a report of an unwanted person.
Saturday, June 27, 12:48 p.m. — Criminal Harassment: An Elm Street resident reported ongoing harassment by a neighbor.
Saturday, June 27, 2:01 p.m. — Breaking and Entering into Motor Vehicle: A victim on Harvard Street found their vehicle door open and a camera stolen.
Saturday, June 27, 2:37 p.m. — Hit and Run: A vehicle was struck in traffic on Acorn Park Drive, causing damage; the at-fault driver fled.
Saturday, June 27, 2:56 p.m. — Larceny from Building: Personal property valued at $1,380 was stolen from the basement of a Norfolk Street residence.
Saturday, June 27, 3:02 p.m. — Vandalism: An unknown person defecated on a Cambridge Street resident's property.
Saturday, June 27, 3:43 p.m. — Assault with a Dangerous Weapon: At the Central Square bus stop, an unknown person slashed a victim with a knife, causing superficial wounds.
Saturday, June 27, 4:18 p.m. — Suspicious Package: An unattended backpack was reported against a utility pole on Lawrence Street; the Explosive Ordnance Unit inspected the item and determined it was not hazardous.
Saturday, June 27, 5:03 p.m. — Arrest: A traffic stop on Main Street near the intersection of Bishop Allen Drive. Alvaro Pena, 33, of Dorchester, was charged with unlicensed operation of an unregistered motorcycle.
Saturday, June 27, 5:35 p.m. — Package Theft: A package containing $50 in gift cards was stolen from outside a residence on Auburn Street.
Saturday, June 27, 5:46 p.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $70 was stolen from outside a Central Square business.
Saturday, June 27, 5:48 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Summons: A Boston resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license, following a traffic stop on Cambridge Street.
Saturday, June 27, 7:25 p.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle was struck near the intersection of Hancock Street and Massachusetts Avenue, causing damage; the at-fault driver fled.
Saturday, June 27, 7:27 p.m. — Arrest: Officers encountered Josey while responding to a trespasser call at a Central Square business. Benjamin Josey, 67, of Cambridge, was charged with failing to register as a sex offender — subsequent offense.
Saturday, June 27, 7:55 p.m. — Shoplifting: A known suspect stole $28 in merchandise from a Central Square business.
Saturday, June 27, 8:01 p.m. — Hit and Run / Cyclist Doored: A cyclist reported being struck by a car door on Massachusetts Avenue near Pearl Street and sustaining minor injuries; the driver fled. The victim declined EMS evaluation.
Saturday, June 27, 8:11 p.m. — Threat: At a Cambridge Street business, a customer threatened to harm a staff member after being declined a free beverage.
Monday, June 29, 2:20 a.m. — Arrest: A warrant stop in Harvard Square. Dominic Castiello, 23, of Medford, was charged with an outstanding warrant out of Boston Municipal Court.
Monday, June 29, 9:59 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash — Pedestrian Injured: On Oxford Street, a rideshare vehicle ran over a passenger's foot as they exited; the victim was transported to a local hospital by EMS.
Monday, June 29, 10:10 a.m. — Larceny: Front directional lights were stolen off a parked vehicle on Thorndike Street.
Monday, June 29, 12:41 p.m. — Package Theft: A package containing merchandise valued at $330 was stolen from outside a residence on Fawcett Street.
Monday, June 29, 1:27 p.m. — Breaking and Entering / Larceny: An unknown person broke into a residence on Mount Auburn Street during the nighttime and stole $800, a credit card, and an EBT card.
Monday, June 29, 1:30 p.m. — Identity Fraud: A Cambridge resident reported that an unknown person made an unauthorized withdrawal of $9,756 from their account and attempted to cash an unauthorized check.
Monday, June 29, 1:39 p.m. — Malicious Damage to Motor Vehicle: A victim on Speridakis Terrace reported finding multiple scratch marks on their parked vehicle.
Monday, June 29, 2:04 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Theft: A victim reported their parked vehicle had gone missing from Brookline Street in the Central Square area.
Monday, June 29, 2:09 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A crash on the 100 block of Western Avenue near Pleasant Street; one operator complained of injury but declined EMS transport.
Monday, June 29, 2:15 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Summons: A Lynn resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle with a suspended license, following a traffic stop near Central Square.
Monday, June 29, 2:48 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Theft: A victim reported their vehicle stolen from the Graffiti Alley area after being unable to locate it.
Monday, June 29, 2:49 p.m. — Criminal Harassment: A victim on Broadway reported ongoing harassment by an acquaintance.
Monday, June 29, 3:53 p.m. — Hit and Run / Cyclist Doored: A cyclist on Columbia Street was struck when a motorist opened their vehicle door; the driver fled. No injuries were reported.
Monday, June 29, 5:03 p.m. — Larceny from Person: An unhoused resident in Central Square reported their cell phone had been stolen.
Monday, June 29, 5:06 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Summons: A Revere resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license, following a traffic stop in Harvard Square.
Monday, June 29, 5:12 p.m. — Shoplifting / Disturbance: A known subject entered a Central Square business intoxicated, threw and consumed multiple food products.
Monday, June 29, 5:32 p.m. — Shoplifting (Repeat): A Central Square business reported an unidentified suspect had shoplifted merchandise totaling $335.33 across 15 separate visits.
Monday, June 29, 5:56 p.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle on Richdale Avenue was struck, causing damage; the at-fault driver fled.
Monday, June 29, 6:59 p.m. — Arrest: Officers encountered Ciriello in the vicinity of Whittemore Avenue and Alewife Brook Parkway, discovered an active warrant, and recovered suspected heroin in a subsequent search. Alec Ciriello, 29, unhoused with a last known address in Somerville, was charged with an outstanding warrant out of Somerville District Court and possession of a Class A drug — subsequent offense (suspected heroin).
Monday, June 29, 8:55 p.m. — Arrest: A victim and witness reported that Garcia-Quinones threatened the victim with a hockey stick in Harvard Square. Jorge Vicente Garcia-Quinones, 20, unhoused with a last known address in Amherst, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
Monday, June 29, 9:02 p.m. — Arrest: A warrant stop in Central Square. Dante Davis, 35, of Somerville, was charged with an outstanding warrant out of Woburn District Court.
Monday, June 29, 9:05 p.m. — Larceny: A scooter was stolen from a bike rack on Main Street.
Monday, June 29, 11:10 p.m. — Arrest — Operating Under the Influence of Liquor: Officers responding to a disturbance call on Cambridge Street near Willow Street found a vehicle Monteiro had been operating idling on a sidewalk; Monteiro showed multiple indicators of impairment. Veranio Monteiro, 46, of Cambridge, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor (OUI).
Tuesday, June 30, 12:41 a.m. — Assault and Battery: At a First Street business, a reporting person stated another person spit on them during an argument.
Tuesday, June 30, 1:50 a.m. — Larceny: Two suitcases containing $1,500 in personal property were stolen from outside a residence on Western Avenue.
Tuesday, June 30, 5:43 a.m. — Package Theft: Multiple opened delivery packages were found outside an apartment door on Cambridgepark Drive.
Tuesday, June 30, 9:05 a.m. — Hit and Run: A passing truck struck a parked vehicle on Gray Street, causing damage, and fled.
Tuesday, June 30, 9:21 a.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $700 was stolen from outside a workplace on Hampshire Street.
Tuesday, June 30, 9:35 a.m. — Criminal Harassment: A reporting person on Elm Street reported ongoing issues with a neighbor.
Tuesday, June 30, 9:39 a.m. — Hit and Run — Pedestrian Injured: A victim near the intersection of Arlington Street and Massachusetts Avenue reported being struck by a vehicle earlier in the day, sustaining leg pain; the victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital.
Tuesday, June 30, 11:41 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Summons: A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of operating a motor vehicle following license suspension, following a traffic stop near the intersection of Rogers Street and Third Street.
Tuesday, June 30, 11:43 a.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect was stopped at a Cambridge Street business, identified, and all merchandise was returned.
Tuesday, June 30, 11:44 a.m. — Criminal Harassment: Police responded to Temple Street to take a report of ongoing issues between neighbors.
Tuesday, June 30, 11:51 a.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $1,000 was stolen in Central Square.
Tuesday, June 30, 12:26 p.m. — Threats: An unknown person made false crime reports and threatened staff members at a Harvard Square hotel.
Tuesday, June 30, 12:56 p.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle at the corner of Ash Street and Brattle Street was struck, causing damage; the at-fault driver fled.
Tuesday, June 30, 1:40 p.m. — Arrest: Officers interacted with Reilly during a call for service at Sennott Park; a warrant arrest and subsequent search revealed multiple controlled substances. Nicole Reilly, 38, of Cambridge, was charged with an outstanding warrant out of Lynn District Court and possession of a Class A drug (suspected heroin), a Class B drug (suspected crack cocaine), and a Class E drug (prescription pills).
Tuesday, June 30, 1:46 p.m. — Hit and Run: A vehicle was struck in traffic on Appian Way near Garden Street, causing damage; no injuries were reported.
Tuesday, June 30, 2:11 p.m. — Attempted Breaking and Entering: A reporting person on Market Street observed an unknown person on security camera attempting to open the front and rear doors of their residence.
Tuesday, June 30, 4:04 p.m. — Identity Fraud: A Cambridge resident on Sixth Street reported an unknown person used their personal information to withdraw approximately $50,000 from their bank accounts.
Tuesday, June 30, 4:36 p.m. — Lost Property: A victim reported losing a bag; earphones inside it were pinging in Harvard Square near Church Street and Massachusetts Avenue.
Tuesday, June 30, 5:00 p.m. — Identity Fraud / Wire Fraud: A Washburn Avenue resident reported receiving a call from a person claiming to work at the Worcester County Sheriff's Office; the victim wired $15,000 to the caller to resolve a non-existent court case.
Tuesday, June 30, 5:12 p.m. — Package Theft: A package containing $267 in clothing was stolen from the front of a residence on Western Avenue.
Tuesday, June 30, 5:34 p.m. — Arrest: It was reported that Zhao purposely urinated on a vehicle on Griswold Street. Benjamin Zhao, 43, of Belmont, was charged with vandalizing property.
Tuesday, June 30, 5:58 p.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $1,000 was stolen on Erie Street.
Tuesday, June 30, 6:22 p.m. — Threats: A restaurant employee and a food delivery driver got into an argument in Central Square during which threats were made.
Tuesday, June 30, 7:05 p.m. — Shoplifting: An unknown suspect stole sporting goods valued at $31.43 from a Central Square business.
Tuesday, June 30, 7:10 p.m. — Malicious Damage to Motor Vehicle: The window of a parked vehicle was smashed on Pacific Street.
Tuesday, June 30, 7:43 p.m. — Larceny: A bag was stolen from a victim's workplace on Mt. Auburn Street.
Tuesday, June 30, 7:46 p.m. — Threat to Commit Crime: A reporting person on Alewife Brook Parkway stated a known person made verbal threats against their family.
Tuesday, June 30, 8:08 p.m. — Larceny from Person: A Cambridge resident reported that a rideshare driver is refusing to return their property.
Tuesday, June 30, 9:12 p.m. — Breaking and Entering into Motor Vehicle: A purse, $10 cash, a credit card, and jewelry were stolen from a vehicle on Sherman Street.
