The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Cambridge Police Department's official public log for the period June 10–11, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 1:34 a.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, two uniformed officers observed a physical altercation during a verbal argument in Central Square. Taron Clayton, 38, of Cambridge, was charged with Assault and Battery.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 3:31 a.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, a warrant arrest was made in the area of Franklin Street and Pleasant Street. Hanad Salad, 25, of Cambridge, was charged on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 9:17 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash / Failure to Exhibit License: Police responded to Central Square for a report of a crash involving an e-bike. The vehicle operator was cited. One person involved was evaluated by EMS but declined transport to a hospital.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 10:09 a.m. — Larceny: A resident of Concord Avenue reported a past larceny. The reporting person stated an unknown individual had stolen laundry from a communal laundry room at their residence.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 10:36 a.m. — Assault and Battery: Police responded to the area of Bishop Allen Drive at Prospect Street for a report of an assault and battery. A cyclist stated that a pedestrian had struck them with a cloth bag. No injuries were reported.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 11:16 a.m. — Disturbance / Assault and Battery: Police responded to a Cambridge Street medical facility for a report of a disturbance. A staff member reported that a patient had physically assaulted them. No injuries were reported.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 11:35 a.m. — Identity Fraud: A Griswold Street resident reported a past incident of identity fraud. The victim stated their bank had contacted them regarding $25,000 in unauthorized transactions.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 12:07 p.m. — Hit and Run / Leave Scene of Personal Injury: Police responded to the area of Concord Avenue and Waterhouse Street for a report of a hit-and-run crash. Vehicle operators stated their vehicle was struck by another in traffic, causing minor injuries.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 2:01 p.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, officers conducted a traffic stop on Sherman Street during which the operator exhibited multiple indicators of impairment. Teddy McCarran, 33, of Medford, was charged with Operating Under the Influence of Liquor (OUI-Liquor), Open Container, Possession of a Class E Substance, and Possession of a Class B Substance.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 4:33 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash / Leave Scene of Property Damage: Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash. One vehicle operator had opened their door into another vehicle, causing damage.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 4:47 p.m. — Shoplifting: Police responded to a Cambridge Street business for a past shoplifting report. An employee stated a suspect had stolen $7.00 worth of merchandise and fled.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 5:33 p.m. — Criminal Harassment: Police responded to Montgomery Street for a report of a neighbor dispute.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 5:48 p.m. — Shoplifting: Police responded to an Alewife Brook Parkway business for a report of a past shoplifting. A store manager stated a suspect had stolen various cosmetic products and a pair of $30 sunglasses.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 6:07 p.m. — Criminal Harassment: Police responded to Green Street for a report of harassment. The victim stated they had an argument with a skateboarder in traffic on Green Street.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 6:17 p.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, a warrant arrest was made in Central Square. Jamie Nucci, 54, of Cambridge, was charged on two active warrants out of Cambridge District Court.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 8:07 p.m. — Larceny: Police responded to Carver Street for a report of a larceny. The victim stated their bicycle, valued at $300, was stolen from outside a Harvard Square business.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 8:33 p.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, a warrant arrest was made in Central Square. Matthew Podymaitis, 32, of Somerville, was charged on a warrant out of Boston Municipal Court.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 8:33 p.m. — Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon: Police responded to Harvard Square for a report of a past assault and battery. The victim stated a known person had thrown a water bottle at them. No injuries were reported.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 8:58 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash / Cyclist Struck: Officers on patrol were flagged down about a crash involving a cyclist in Central Square. The vehicle operator was cited. The cyclist was evaluated by EMS but declined transportation to a hospital.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 10:26 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Theft: Police took a report for a stolen motor vehicle. The victim stated their motorcycle, valued at $1,200, was stolen from where they had left it on Massachusetts Avenue.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 10:29 p.m. — Shoplifting: Police responded to a Porter Square business for a report of a shoplifting. A store employee stated an unknown suspect had stolen items with an estimated value between $100 and $200.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 11:04 p.m. — Larceny from a Building: Police took a report for a larceny from a building in the area of Massachusetts Avenue. The victim stated their laptop, valued at $1,200, was taken from a conference being held at that location.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 2:45 a.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, a warrant arrest was made in Porter Square. Desiree Chiuchiolo, 43, of Malden, was charged on a warrant out of Chelsea District Court.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 9:14 a.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a Broadway business reported a suspect had stolen $14 worth of merchandise and fled.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 9:17 a.m. — Larceny: A Massachusetts Avenue resident reported that their bicycle, valued at $1,399, was stolen from the front entrance of their home near Central Square.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 9:27 a.m. — Hit and Run / Leave Scene of Property Damage / Cyclist Injured: Police responded to the area of Steel Place for a report of a hit-and-run crash involving a cyclist. The cyclist sustained minor injuries.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 9:35 a.m. — Defacing Property / Trespass: A Norfolk Street resident reported that an unknown individual had been on the roof of their building.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 10:13 a.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, a warrant arrest was made on Massachusetts Avenue. John Loder, 48, of Cambridge, was charged on two warrants out of Cambridge District Court.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 11:00 a.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, a warrant arrest was made in Central Square. Matthew McFarland, 39, was charged on two warrants out of Cambridge District Court.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 11:06 a.m. — Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle: A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges related to operating an unregistered motorcycle without a license. The violations were identified during a traffic stop in Central Square.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 11:47 a.m. — Criminal Harassment / Computer Crime: Police took a harassment report from a Harvard Square business owner. The reporting person stated a former employee accessed their computer system without authorization to obtain personal information and has been using it to make false allegations.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 12:45 p.m. — Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle: A Westborough resident reported malicious destruction to property. The victim stated their motorcycle was damaged while parked on Mt. Auburn Street.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 12:58 p.m. — Larceny: Police took a report for a past larceny on Temple Street. The reporting person stated the welcome mat was missing from outside their residence.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 1:07 p.m. — Larceny: A Concord Avenue resident reported that their bicycle, valued at $1,214, was stolen from the back of their residence.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 1:27 p.m. — Trespass / Unauthorized Access: A Cambridge resident reported that a former tenant had gained access to their property on Fairfield Street.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 2:06 p.m. — Property Damage: Police responded to Vassar Street for a report of a damaged electrical box.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 2:51 p.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, an arrest was made on Rindge Avenue after it was alleged that a suspect threatened a known person with a pair of scissors. Christopher Gorden, 49, of Cambridge, was charged with Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 3:08 p.m. — Unwanted Person / Threat to Commit Crime: Police responded to Rindge Avenue for a report of an unwanted person. The reporting person stated that an unwanted individual had taken up residence in a common area of their building.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 3:13 p.m. — Assault with a Dangerous Weapon: Police responded to the area of Raymond Street for a report of a person with a knife. The victim stated they were threatened by an individual holding a large knife.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 3:18 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a White Street business reported a suspect had stolen $326 worth of merchandise and fled.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 3:36 p.m. — Breaking and Entering / Larceny: A Cambridge resident reported that their bicycles, valued at $2,250 in total, were stolen from an unlocked basement storage area at their residence on Dudley Street. The incident was classified as a breaking and entering (B&E) in the daytime for a felony.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 4:10 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a Somerville Avenue business reported a suspect had stolen $150 worth of merchandise and fled.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 4:18 p.m. — Package Theft / Larceny: A Massachusetts Avenue resident reported that a package containing $224 in merchandise was stolen from the front of their residence.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 4:53 p.m. — Hit and Run / Leave Scene of Property Damage: Officers responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a past hit-and-run crash report. The reporting person stated their vehicle was struck while parked, causing damage.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 5:07 p.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, a warrant arrest was made on Inman Street. Jorge Alives, 37, of Cambridge, was charged on two active warrants out of Somerville District Court.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 6:15 p.m. — Larceny: A Medford resident reported that their bicycle, valued at $560, was stolen from a bike rack in Porter Square.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 6:33 p.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, a warrant arrest was made on CambridgePark Drive. Alex Gerace, 35, of Leominster, was charged on three warrants out of Cambridge District Court and one warrant out of Gardner District Court.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 7:20 p.m. — Larceny / Malicious Destruction of Property: A Porter Circle resident reported that their bicycle, valued at $620, was stolen from outside their residence.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 7:36 p.m. — Package Theft / Larceny: An Elm Street resident reported that a package containing $429 in merchandise was stolen from the front of their residence.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 7:51 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a JFK Street business reported a suspect had stolen merchandise. Police were able to stop and identify the suspect. All merchandise was returned; the business did not wish to pursue criminal charges.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 7:56 p.m. — Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle: Police responded to Washington Street for a vandalism report. The reporting person stated that their car tire had been slashed.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 7:58 p.m. — Stolen Motor Vehicle: Police responded to Water Street to assist in locating a stolen motor vehicle.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 8:27 p.m. — Assault and Battery / Disturbance: Police responded to the area of Central Square, near Brookline Street and Massachusetts Avenue, for a report of a fight in the roadway. The victim stated they had been physically assaulted by an unknown person, causing injury.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 8:51 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a Somerville Avenue business reported a suspect had stolen $156 worth of merchandise and fled.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 9:55 p.m. — Arrest: According to the Cambridge Police Department's official public log, an arrest was made on Massachusetts Avenue after the subject refused multiple requests to leave a business that was closing for the night. Beruk Alemayehu, 27, of Cambridge, was charged with Trespass.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 10:18 p.m. — Larceny: Police responded to the area of Rindge Avenue for a larceny report. The reporting person stated their shirt, containing their wallet, was stolen from the waiting area of a pharmacy.
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 11:44 p.m. — Assault and Battery / Disturbance: Police responded to a Winthrop Street business for a report of a disturbance. The reporting person stated that a staff member refused to allow them to use a restroom, leading to a physical altercation.
