Cambridge Arts is also seeking artists interested in designing Cool Spot shade structures — temporary, site-responsive installations that provide heat relief and serve as public gathering points. Selected artists can receive up to $95,000 in project support. The call comes as the city braces for another hot summer under critical drought conditions.
Residents should also note weekend traffic impacts through Sunday, June 29, with temporary street closures in effect around the City Dance Party and the Summer Classic 5K.
