Wednesday, September 9, 6:39 a.m. — Assault and Battery: A victim on Massachusetts Avenue reported being slapped in the face by an unknown individual.
Wednesday, September 9, 7:22 a.m. — Suspicious Package: An unattended package near Binney and First Streets was inspected by the Explosive Ordnance Unit and found not hazardous.
Wednesday, September 9, 8:05 a.m. — Arrest: An employee reported $10 in merchandise stolen from a business on Alewife Brook Parkway; the suspect physically resisted when confronted by officers. Nelson Holoway Bell, 44, unhoused, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation and resisting arrest.
Wednesday, September 9, 8:23 a.m. — Traffic Crash: A cyclist sustained minor injuries in a crash near Cambridge and Warren Streets; the motorist was cited.
Wednesday, September 9, 9:02 a.m. — Larceny: A child's stroller valued at $600 was stolen from outside a residence on Chatham Street.
Wednesday, September 9, 9:37 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Violations: A Somerville resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, and operating with a revoked registration following a traffic stop on Cambridge Street.
Wednesday, September 9, 12:43 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Violations: A Boston resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle after leaving a parked vehicle on a Cushing Street public way.
Wednesday, September 9, 1:21 p.m. — Larceny: A backpack containing items valued at $1,700 was stolen on Massachusetts Avenue.
Wednesday, September 9, 1:24 p.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle was struck in traffic near Fayerweather Street and Huron Avenue; no injuries were reported.
Wednesday, September 9, 1:39 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $199.73 in merchandise from a Massachusetts Avenue business; items were recovered by loss prevention.
Wednesday, September 9, 2:34 p.m. — Arrest: Zachary T. Tringali, 32, of Cambridge, was arrested on JFK Street on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court.
Wednesday, September 9, 2:37 p.m. — Property Damage: A hit-and-run property damage report was filed at a CambridgePark Drive business.
Wednesday, September 9, 3:06 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $137.03 in merchandise from a Massachusetts Avenue business and fled before officers arrived.
Wednesday, September 9, 3:20 p.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $900 was stolen from a bike rack on Rindge Avenue.
Wednesday, September 9, 3:38 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $10 in merchandise from a JFK Street business and fled before officers arrived.
Wednesday, September 9, 3:40 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $800 in merchandise via price tag tampering from an Alewife Brook Parkway business; items were recovered by loss prevention.
Wednesday, September 9, 4:35 p.m. — Hit and Run: A pedestrian on Massachusetts Avenue near Washburn Avenue was struck by a motor vehicle whose operator fled the scene.
Wednesday, September 9, 4:53 p.m. — Suspicious Package: An unattended package near the Longfellow Bridge and Memorial Drive was inspected by the Explosive Ordnance Unit and found not hazardous.
Wednesday, September 9, 5:26 p.m. — Traffic Crash: A crash involving a scooter was reported on Alewife Brook Parkway.
Wednesday, September 9, 6:09 p.m. — Arrest: Todd Callbeck, 30, of Boston, was arrested on Massachusetts Avenue on a warrant out of Quincy District Court.
Wednesday, September 9, 6:35 p.m. — Identity Fraud: A Memorial Drive resident reported receiving a call from someone posing as an NYPD officer claiming their information was used in a fraud scheme.
Wednesday, September 9, 6:48 p.m. — Breaking and Entering: An unknown person entered a residence on Yerxa Road without permission.
Wednesday, September 9, 7:23 p.m. — Break Into Vehicle: A vehicle parked outside a Kirkland Road residence was broken into; the registration document and sticker were stolen.
Wednesday, September 9, 8:47 p.m. — Breaking and Entering: An unknown person entered a Marcella Street residence and stole medication.
Wednesday, September 9, 10:04 p.m. — Larceny: A wallet was reported missing on Mt. Auburn Street.
Thursday, September 10, 12:38 a.m. — Larceny: A phone was stolen from outside a business on Massachusetts Avenue.
Thursday, September 10, 8:33 a.m. — Arrest: Janice Horton, 45, of Cambridge, was arrested near Massachusetts Avenue and Prospect Street on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court.
Thursday, September 10, 9:04 a.m. — Break Into Vehicle: A vehicle parked outside a CambridgePark Drive residence was broken into.
Thursday, September 10, 9:23 a.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $1,000 was stolen from the deck of a Forest Street residence.
Thursday, September 10, 10:34 a.m. — Arrest: Ricardo Gomes, 66, of Brockton, was arrested near Garden and Waterhouse Streets on three active warrants out of Brockton and Roxbury District Courts.
Thursday, September 10, 10:44 a.m. — Arrest: Officers stopped Hannah Williams on Auburn Street following a trespassing complaint and uncovered an extraditable warrant and suspected heroin. Hannah Williams, 28, of Somerville, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A drug, subsequent offense, on an extraditable warrant out of Lewiston, Maine.
Thursday, September 10, 12:32 p.m. — Arrest: Officers observed Jamil Charles in possession of a substance suspected to be crack cocaine near Massachusetts Avenue and Pearl Street. Jamil Charles, 56, of Cambridge, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B substance, subsequent offense.
Thursday, September 10, 1:43 p.m. — Identity Fraud: A Meacham Road resident reported an unknown individual opened a bank account using their personal information.
Thursday, September 10, 3:37 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $50 in merchandise from a JFK Street business and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, September 10, 4:24 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $303.33 in merchandise from a White Street business and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, September 10, 4:41 p.m. — Vandalism: A malicious property destruction report was filed on Kirkland Street.
Thursday, September 10, 4:50 p.m. — Drug Charges: Officers responding to a complaint of drug use on Bishop Allen Drive encountered two individuals. An Arlington resident and a Boston resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of possession of a Class A substance and possession of a Class B substance.
Thursday, September 10, 5:46 p.m. — Assault and Battery: A victim on Pearl Street reported being pushed to the ground by an unknown person.
Thursday, September 10, 6:32 p.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $600 was stolen from outside a Massachusetts Avenue residence.
Thursday, September 10, 7:42 p.m. — Arrest: Eric Rivera entered a Central Square business from which he had previously been trespassed. Eric Rivera, 63, of Revere, was arrested and charged with trespassing.
Thursday, September 10, 8:11 p.m. — Larceny: A backpack was stolen from inside a park on New Street.
Thursday, September 10, 8:45 p.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle was struck and damaged on Monsignor O'Brien Highway.
Thursday, September 10, 8:54 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $89.99 in merchandise from a Massachusetts Avenue business and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, September 10, 9:48 p.m. — Vandalism: A vehicle windshield on Rindge Avenue was cracked after someone threw coconuts at it.
Thursday, September 10, 10:25 p.m. — Traffic Crash: A motor vehicle crash was reported on Cambridge Street; no injuries were reported.
Thursday, September 10, 10:41 p.m. — Vandalism: A resident on Cedar Street reported someone threw a rock through a window.
Friday, September 11, 8:16 a.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $13.99 in merchandise from a Massachusetts Avenue business and fled before officers arrived.
Friday, September 11, 10:12 a.m. — Identity Fraud: A scam was reported on Churchill Avenue.
Friday, September 11, 11:44 a.m. — Vandalism: A Quincy resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on two counts of defacing property following a disturbance on Broad Canal Way.
Friday, September 11, 12:48 p.m. — Larceny: An item valued at $200 was stolen from a CambridgePark Drive apartment.
Friday, September 11, 1:24 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $29.18 in merchandise from a Somerville Avenue business and fled before officers arrived.
Friday, September 11, 2:05 p.m. — Fraud: A victim at Putnam Gardens reported being scammed out of $1,000 through social media.
Friday, September 11, 2:48 p.m. — Identity Fraud: A victim on Porter Road reported an unknown individual attempted online purchases totaling $3,473 using their credit card.
Friday, September 11, 3:03 p.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle was struck and damaged on Hillside Avenue.
Friday, September 11, 4:02 p.m. — Arrest: An employee reported $26 in merchandise stolen from an Alewife Brook Parkway business. Arisdakess Saraydrian, 63, of Long Beach, California, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.
Friday, September 11, 4:29 p.m. — Assault with a Dangerous Weapon: A victim on Brattle Street reported an unknown individual nearly struck them with a moped.
Friday, September 11, 4:45 p.m. — Hit and Run: A vehicle was struck in traffic near Main and Wadsworth Streets; no injuries were reported.
Friday, September 11, 5:14 p.m. — Larceny: A customer left a Mt. Auburn Street business without paying their check.
Friday, September 11, 5:22 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $3.50 in merchandise from an Alewife Brook Parkway business and fled before officers arrived.
Friday, September 11, 5:41 p.m. — Arrest: A traffic stop on Massachusetts Avenue uncovered a warrant and motor vehicle offenses. Argenis Martinez, 24, of Chestnut Hill, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on a warrant out of Attleboro District Court.

Friday, September 11, 6:09 p.m. — Shoplifting: A Boston resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for shoplifting by concealment, third offense, after allegedly stealing $136 in merchandise from an Alewife Brook Parkway business.
Friday, September 11, 6:14 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $135 in merchandise from an Alewife Brook Parkway business and fled before officers arrived.
Friday, September 11, 6:18 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $34.15 in merchandise from a Massachusetts Avenue business and fled before officers arrived.
Friday, September 11, 6:56 p.m. — Identity Fraud: A Leighton Street resident reported being tricked into providing personal information to a caller posing as their bank.
Friday, September 11, 7:15 p.m. — Suspicious Package: An unattended package near Garden and Waterhouse Streets was inspected by the Explosive Ordnance Unit and found not hazardous.
Friday, September 11, 7:54 p.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle near Appian Way and Garden Street was struck and damaged.

Friday, September 11, 11:37 p.m. — Disturbance: A group was reported throwing glass bottles into the street on Third Street.
Friday, September 11, 11:50 p.m. — Unarmed Robbery: A victim near Mt. Auburn and Eliot Streets reported being struck in the face by a known individual following a verbal argument.
Saturday, September 12, 1:29 a.m. — Assault and Battery: A victim at a Cambridge Street business reported being punched in the head by an unknown individual.
Saturday, September 12, 2:10 a.m. — Arrest: A vehicle fled the scene of a crash near Franklin and Sidney Streets; when stopped, the operator showed signs of impairment and had an open container of alcohol. Aaron Alfaro-Gutierrez, 21, of Saugus, was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence of Liquor and related unlicensed operation charges.

Saturday, September 12, 1:04 p.m. — Identity Fraud: A victim on Massachusetts Avenue reported $226 in unauthorized card purchases.
Saturday, September 12, 1:51 p.m. — Arrest: Officers encountered Devon White in Porter Square in possession of a reportedly stolen bicycle. Devon White, 34, of Braintree, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, vandalizing property, and two warrants out of Boston District Court.
Saturday, September 12, 2:18 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $20 in merchandise from a River Street business and fled before officers arrived.
Saturday, September 12, 3:11 p.m. — Arrest: An employee reported $55 in merchandise stolen from a Massachusetts Avenue business. Kenneth Brooks, 52, of Boston, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealment and a warrant out of Boston District Court.
