The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Cambridge Police Department's official public log for the period September 7–9, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Monday, September 7, 12:50 a.m. — Assault & Battery: Police responded to Washington Street for a fight. Involved persons were identified and released; non-life-threatening injuries were reported.
Monday, September 7, 8:11 a.m. — Threats: Police responded to the area of Washington and Windsor streets for a disturbance. A reporting person stated an unknown individual was making threats against them and their family.
Monday, September 7, 8:32 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Violation: An Everett resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges related to the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at Brattle and Palmer streets.
Monday, September 7, 9:31 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Break-In / Larceny: A Kenwood Street resident reported their vehicle was broken into while parked in front of their home; a wallet containing multiple credit cards was stolen. The cards were subsequently used in unauthorized transactions.
Monday, September 7, 10:04 a.m. — Arrest: An employee of a Somerville Avenue business reported that Ryan Hurley had stolen several energy drinks. Ryan Hurley, 43, of Somerville, was charged with Shoplifting by Asportation.
Monday, September 7, 12:51 p.m. — Shoplifting: A Malden resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Shoplifting by Concealment after an employee of a Massachusetts Avenue business reported the suspect stole $68 of merchandise.
Monday, September 7, 1:01 p.m. — Hit and Run: Police responded to Rindge Avenue for a past hit-and-run crash report. A reporting person stated their parked vehicle was struck, causing damage.
Monday, September 7, 1:13 p.m. — Larceny from Building: Police responded to Boardman Street for a past larceny. A victim reported their Social Security card and keys were missing from their bag.
Monday, September 7, 1:21 p.m. — Threats: A Temple Street resident reported being the victim of threats.
Monday, September 7, 1:30 p.m. — Unattended Package: Officers responded to the area of Mount Auburn and Traill streets for an unattended package. The Explosive Ordnance Unit inspected the item and determined it was not hazardous.
Monday, September 7, 2:04 p.m. — Package Theft: A Massachusetts Avenue resident reported a package containing $1,100 in merchandise was stolen from the front of their residence.
Monday, September 7, 3:02 p.m. — Arrest: An employee of a Massachusetts Avenue business reported that Weldebruk Hadgu had stolen $68.60 of merchandise. Weldebruk Hadgu, 43, of Cambridge, was charged with Shoplifting by Asportation.
Monday, September 7, 4:38 p.m. — Larceny: A victim reported a hubcap had been stolen from their parked vehicle on Pine Street near Eaton Street.
Monday, September 7, 5:33 p.m. — Bicycle Theft: A Cambridge resident reported their bicycle, valued at $500, was stolen from outside a business on Somerville Avenue.
Monday, September 7, 6:00 p.m. — Package Theft: An Auburn Street resident reported a package containing $10.87 in merchandise was stolen from the front of their residence.
Monday, September 7, 6:23 p.m. — Arrest: A vehicle operated by Mark Parise was stopped on Palmer Street following a complaint of erratic operation; Parise presented with multiple indicators of impairment. Mark Parise, 62, of Cambridge, was charged with Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, Unlicensed Operation of Motor Vehicle, and Speeding.
Monday, September 7, 7:24 p.m. — Vandalism: A Marney Street resident reported the front right headlight of their vehicle had been ripped off.
Monday, September 7, 9:00 p.m. — Threats: Police responded to Norfolk Street for a report of threats. A reporting person stated an unknown individual was yelling threats at them.
Tuesday, September 8, 10:39 a.m. — Bicycle Theft: A Cambridge resident reported their bicycle, valued at $130, was stolen from outside their residence on JFK Street.
Tuesday, September 8, 10:52 a.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a Massachusetts Avenue business reported a suspect stole $6.48 of merchandise and fled before officers arrived.
Tuesday, September 8, 11:40 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash, Pedestrian Involved: Police responded to Mason Street near Phillips Place for a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The individual was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
Tuesday, September 8, 12:05 p.m. — Larceny: Police responded to Langdon Street for a report that an individual was going through packages in a lobby.
Tuesday, September 8, 1:18 p.m. — Assault & Battery: Police responded to a Concord Avenue business where two individuals had a verbal altercation in the waiting room, during which one person pushed another. No injuries were reported.
Tuesday, September 8, 1:39 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a JFK Street business reported a suspect stole $50 of merchandise and fled before officers arrived.
Tuesday, September 8, 2:16 p.m. — Package Theft: A Cambridge Street resident reported a package containing $638 in merchandise was stolen from the front of their residence.
Tuesday, September 8, 2:54 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Break-In / Larceny: A Broadway resident reported their vehicle was broken into while parked in their garage; items valued at $110 were stolen.
Tuesday, September 8, 2:58 p.m. — Threatening with a Substance: Police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue business for an unwanted person. A reporting person stated a known individual had been harassing staff for the past week and that day threatened to spray one of them with an unknown substance.
Tuesday, September 8, 3:11 p.m. — Hit and Run: Officers responded to Broadway for a past hit-and-run crash report. A reporting person stated their parked vehicle was struck, causing damage.
Tuesday, September 8, 3:17 p.m. — Arrest: During an argument over a parking space on Upton Street, a reporting person stated Ellen Serino threw a stick at them, causing injury to their leg. Ellen Serino, 76, of Newton, was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
Tuesday, September 8, 3:23 p.m. — Hit and Run: Officers responded to Concord Avenue for a past hit-and-run crash report. A reporting person stated their parked vehicle was struck, causing damage.
Tuesday, September 8, 3:58 p.m. — Arrest: An employee of a Somerville Avenue business reported that Marsena Green had stolen $96 of merchandise. Marsena Green, 33, of Cambridge, was charged with Shoplifting by Asportation.
Tuesday, September 8, 4:49 p.m. — Unattended Package: Officers responded to the area of Hampshire Street for an unattended package. The Explosive Ordnance Unit inspected the item and determined it was not hazardous.
Tuesday, September 8, 4:53 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Break-In: A Broadway resident reported their vehicle was broken into while parked in their residence garage; nothing is believed to have been stolen.
Tuesday, September 8, 5:09 p.m. — Larceny from Person: A victim at a Massachusetts Avenue business reported an unknown individual stole their phone charger, valued at $20.
Tuesday, September 8, 6:23 p.m. — E-Bike Theft: A Somerville resident reported their e-bike, valued at $3,000, was stolen from outside a business on JFK Street.
Tuesday, September 8, 8:01 p.m. — Shoplifting: A Boston resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Shoplifting by Asportation after an employee of a Massachusetts Avenue business reported the suspect stole $320 of merchandise.
Tuesday, September 8, 8:34 p.m. — Arrest: Officers observed a pair engaged in sexual activity in full view of members of the public near Bishop Allen Drive and Essex Street. Domonic Carter, 34, unhoused, and Jessica Lullanda, 43, of Everett, were each charged with Lewd/Lascivious Conduct and Disorderly Conduct.
Tuesday, September 8, 8:36 p.m. — Arrest: Officers responded to a Church Street establishment where Yohan Pacheco refused multiple requests to leave; Pacheco physically resisted officers while being placed under arrest. Yohan Pacheco, 19, of Worcester, was charged with Trespassing and Resisting Arrest.
Tuesday, September 8, 8:49 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Break-In / Larceny: A Walden Square Road resident reported their vehicle was broken into while parked in front of their residence; items valued at $250 were stolen.
Tuesday, September 8, 8:54 p.m. — E-Scooter Theft: A Boston resident reported their e-scooter and cable lock, valued at $530, were stolen from outside a business on Massachusetts Avenue.
Tuesday, September 8, 9:22 p.m. — Arrest: An employee of a Massachusetts Avenue business reported that Rasheed Suarez had stolen $60 of merchandise. Rasheed Suarez, 46, of Roxbury, was charged with Shoplifting by Asportation.
Wednesday, September 9, 6:39 a.m. — Assault & Battery: Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a past assault and battery. A victim stated an unknown individual slapped them in the face.
Wednesday, September 9, 7:22 a.m. — Unattended Package: Officers responded to the area of Binney and First streets for an unattended package. The Explosive Ordnance Unit inspected the item and determined it was not hazardous.
Wednesday, September 9, 8:05 a.m. — Arrest: An employee of an Alewife Brook Parkway business reported that Nelson Holoway Bell had stolen $10 of merchandise; Holoway Bell physically resisted officers when confronted. Nelson Holoway Bell, 44, unhoused, was charged with Shoplifting by Asportation and Resisting Arrest.
Wednesday, September 9, 8:23 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash, Cyclist Involved: Police responded to the area of Cambridge and Warren streets for a crash involving a cyclist. The cyclist sustained minor injuries; the motorist was cited.
Wednesday, September 9, 9:02 a.m. — Larceny: A Cambridge resident reported a child stroller, valued at $600, was stolen from outside their residence on Chatham Street.
Wednesday, September 9, 9:37 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Violations: A Somerville resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and Operation of a Motor Vehicle with Revoked Registration following a traffic stop on Cambridge Street.
Wednesday, September 9, 12:43 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Violations: A Boston resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Unregistered Motor Vehicle after leaving their parked vehicle in a public way.
Wednesday, September 9, 1:21 p.m. — Larceny: A reporting person on Massachusetts Avenue stated an unknown individual stole their backpack containing items valued at $1,700.
Wednesday, September 9, 1:24 p.m. — Hit and Run: Officers responded to the area of Fayerweather Street and Huron Avenue for a hit-and-run crash. A reporting person stated their vehicle was struck in traffic; no injuries were reported.
Wednesday, September 9, 1:39 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a Massachusetts Avenue business reported a suspect stole $199.73 of merchandise; the items were recovered by loss prevention.
Wednesday, September 9, 2:34 p.m. — Arrest: Zachary T. Tringali was taken into custody on JFK Street on an outstanding warrant from Cambridge District Court. Zachary T. Tringali, 32, of Cambridge, was arrested on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court.
Wednesday, September 9, 3:06 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a Massachusetts Avenue business reported a suspect stole $137.03 of merchandise and fled before officers arrived.
Wednesday, September 9, 3:20 p.m. — Bicycle Theft: A Cambridge resident reported their bicycle, valued at $900, was stolen from a bicycle rack on Rindge Avenue.
Wednesday, September 9, 3:38 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a JFK Street business reported a suspect stole $10 of merchandise and fled before officers arrived.
Wednesday, September 9, 3:40 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of an Alewife Brook Parkway business reported a suspect stole $800 of merchandise; the items were recovered by loss prevention.
Wednesday, September 9, 4:35 p.m. — Hit and Run, Pedestrian: A reporting person stated they were struck by a motor vehicle near Massachusetts Avenue and Washburn Avenue. Police documented the hit-and-run with property damage.
Wednesday, September 9, 4:53 p.m. — Unattended Package: Officers responded to the area of Longfellow Bridge and Memorial Drive for an unattended package. The Explosive Ordnance Unit inspected the item and determined it was not hazardous.
Wednesday, September 9, 5:26 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: Police responded to Alewife Brook Parkway for a motor vehicle crash involving a scooter.
Wednesday, September 9, 6:09 p.m. — Arrest: Todd Callbeck was taken into custody on Massachusetts Avenue on an outstanding warrant from Quincy District Court. Todd Callbeck, 30, of Boston, was arrested on a warrant out of Quincy District Court.
Wednesday, September 9, 6:35 p.m. — Identity Fraud: A Memorial Drive resident reported receiving a phone call from someone portraying themselves as a New York City police officer, claiming the resident's information had been used in a fraud scheme.
Wednesday, September 9, 6:48 p.m. — Breaking and Entering: Police responded to Yerxa Road for a past breaking and entering; a reporting person stated an unknown person gained entry to the residence.
Wednesday, September 9, 7:23 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Break-In / Larceny: A Kirkland Road resident reported their vehicle was broken into while parked outside their residence; the vehicle's registration document and sticker were stolen.
Wednesday, September 9, 8:47 p.m. — Breaking and Entering / Larceny: Police responded to Marcella Street for a past breaking and entering. A victim stated an unknown person gained entry to their residence and stole medication.
Wednesday, September 9, 10:04 p.m. — Larceny: Police responded to Mount Auburn Street for a report of a missing wallet.
