Thursday, September 24, 8:34 a.m. — Larceny: A vehicle parked on Sherman Street was broken into; items worth $25 and a wallet were stolen.
Thursday, September 24, 8:48 a.m. — Threat to Commit Crime: Police responded to a disturbance near Central Square where an unknown individual was reported yelling at and threatening people on the street.
Thursday, September 24, 8:55 a.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $300 was stolen from a backyard on Harvard Street.
Thursday, September 24, 9:36 a.m. — Leave Scene of Personal Injury: A hit-and-run involving a bicyclist was reported at Massachusetts Avenue and Vassar Street; minor injuries were reported.
Thursday, September 24, 10:08 a.m. — Arrest: Police responded to the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street for an active warrant. Lyle Oates, 38, unhoused, was arrested on an active warrant out of Lowell District Court.
Thursday, September 24, 10:19 a.m. — Disorderly Conduct: Police responded to a reported disturbance on Rindge Avenue.
Thursday, September 24, 11:22 a.m. — Malicious Destruction of Property: An office building window on Massachusetts Avenue was smashed by an unknown individual.
Thursday, September 24, 11:59 a.m. — Assault and Battery: A victim on Massachusetts Avenue reported an unknown individual dumped a bucket of urine from a window and struck them.
Thursday, September 24, 12:45 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a business on JFK Street reported a suspect stole $40 of merchandise and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, September 24, 1:10 p.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $215 was stolen from a locked fence in a front yard on Massachusetts Avenue.
Thursday, September 24, 1:10 p.m. — Breaking and Entering (Depository): A vehicle parked on Frost Street was broken into; items worth $160 were stolen.
Thursday, September 24, 1:10 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a business on Brattle Street reported a suspect stole $89 of merchandise and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, September 24, 1:52 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Larceny: A resident on Lambert Street reported their vehicle was stolen from their building's parking lot.
Thursday, September 24, 2:58 p.m. — Criminal Harassment: Harassment through social media was reported on Main Street.
Thursday, September 24, 3:59 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Larceny: A motor vehicle larceny was reported on Wellington Lane.
Thursday, September 24, 4:38 p.m. — Traffic Crash: A motor vehicle crash involving a cyclist was reported at Huron Avenue and Lakeview Avenue; no injuries were reported.
Thursday, September 24, 4:47 p.m. — Arrest: Police made an arrest on Brattle Street. Michael Hanley, 40, of Boston, was charged with Possession of a Class A Drug and arrested on an active warrant out of Chelsea District Court.
Thursday, September 24, 5:05 p.m. — Larceny: A cell phone was stolen from a residence on Boardman Street.
Thursday, September 24, 6:29 p.m. — Shoplifting: An employee of a business on Massachusetts Avenue reported two Cambridge residents stole $251 of merchandise; both will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on shoplifting charges.
