Cambridge Recreation has opened registration for its fall youth basketball leagues.

CAMBRIDGE -- Cambridge Recreation, a division of the city's Department of Human Service Programs, posted a notice this week directing families to "Register for Fall Youth Basketball Leagues" on its recreation news page.

TOWN -- The department's recreation site lists the basketball registration alongside its standing roster of city-run offerings, including the War Memorial Recreation Center, which provides youth and adult classes, basketball courts and pool access, and the Athletic Leagues and Programs page, which covers leagues run by Recreation and partner community organizations. Recreation Director Adam Corbeil oversees the division, which also manages athletic field permitting and Danehy Park.
