TOWN -- Registration for Fall 2026 programming at the War Memorial Recreation Center opened Monday, August 10, according to the Cambridge Recreation website, a division of the city's Department of Human Service Programs. The War Memorial Recreation Center offers classes for youth and adults along with basketball courts and pool access.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Cambridge Youth Lacrosse announced its Fall Ball program, open to boys and girls ages 6 to 15. Sessions run Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m., September 13 through October 25, at Russell Field, according to the club's website. Rather than charging a fee, the program asks families to consider making a donation to CYL.
