The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Cambridge Police Department's official public log for the period September 3–5, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Thursday, September 3, 8:32 a.m. — Larceny: A Cambridge resident reported that an unknown individual stole their ATM card inside a Massachusetts Ave. business.
Thursday, September 3, 11:25 a.m. — Traffic Violation: A Woburn resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Failing to Yield to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk following a traffic stop at Concord Ave. and Huron Ave.
Thursday, September 3, 11:26 a.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole approximately $102 in merchandise from a River St. business and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, September 3, 11:53 a.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole approximately $40 in merchandise from a Massachusetts Ave. business; officers located the suspect and recovered the items.
Thursday, September 3, 1:16 p.m. — Hit-and-Run: Officers responded to Massachusetts Ave. for a hit-and-run crash in which a vehicle was struck in traffic. One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Thursday, September 3, 1:21 p.m. — Arrest: Two people were arrested on outstanding warrants on Pearl St. Ali Barnes, 30, of Fitchburg, was charged with one warrant out of Waltham District Court. Bianca Rose Lavargna, 33, of Waltham, was charged with three warrants out of Waltham District Court.
Thursday, September 3, 1:58 p.m. — Package Theft: A resident reported a package containing $200 in merchandise was stolen from the lobby of a Third St. residence.
Thursday, September 3, 2:52 p.m. — Assault and Battery: A pedestrian and a motorist got into an argument on Massachusetts Ave. that turned physical; no injuries were reported.
Thursday, September 3, 3:01 p.m. — Assault: An individual at a Massachusetts Ave. business yelled racial slurs at customers and threw a drink at an employee; the individual was identified and trespassed from the business.
Thursday, September 3, 3:20 p.m. — Robbery: A suspect entered a Brattle St. business, passed a note to an employee demanding cash, and fled the area.
Thursday, September 3, 3:35 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: Officers responded to Harvard St. for a motor vehicle crash; no injuries were reported.
Thursday, September 3, 3:51 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole approximately $400 in merchandise from a White St. business and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, September 3, 4:00 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Larceny: A victim reported being unable to locate their parked motor vehicle on Walden St.
Thursday, September 3, 4:24 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $50 in merchandise from a White St. business and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, September 3, 4:53 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $97 in merchandise from a Massachusetts Ave. business and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, September 3, 5:16 p.m. — Vandalism: An unknown individual damaged the side window of a vehicle on Hampshire St.
Thursday, September 3, 5:25 p.m. — Arrest: A driver was arrested during a traffic stop at Massachusetts Ave. and State St. Brandon Moore, 43, of Dedham, was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor or Drugs (OUI).
Thursday, September 3, 6:04 p.m. — Identity Fraud: A resident reported that their credit card was used for $410 in unauthorized purchases on Ware St.
Thursday, September 3, 6:19 p.m. — Arrest: A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Green St. and Magazine St. Damien Davis, 30, of Medford, was charged with one active warrant out of Dorchester District Court.
Thursday, September 3, 6:21 p.m. — Package Theft: A resident reported a package containing $75 in merchandise was stolen from the front of a Harvard St. residence.
Thursday, September 3, 6:37 p.m. — Hit-and-Run: A vehicle was struck while parked on Alewife Brook Pkwy., causing damage.
Thursday, September 3, 7:14 p.m. — Arrest: A man was arrested following a drug investigation in Central Square near Franklin St. and Pleasant St. A Cambridge resident will be separately summonsed to court on narcotics possession charges from the same investigation. Gary Greene, 65, of Somerville, was charged with possession with intent to distribute narcotics.
Thursday, September 3, 7:19 p.m. — Arrest: Officers stopped a man for riding an electric scooter on the sidewalk in a business square near Massachusetts Ave. and Pearl St.; he became belligerent toward police and bystanders. Jason Bailey, 47, of Boston, was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Assault on a Police Officer, Assault to Intimidate, and Interfering with a Police Officer.
Thursday, September 3, 8:06 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole approximately $422 in merchandise from a White St. business and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, September 3, 8:27 p.m. — Assault with a Dangerous Weapon: An employee of a Massachusetts Ave. business reported being threatened by a known individual.
Thursday, September 3, 8:39 p.m. — Hit-and-Run: A vehicle was struck while parked on White St., causing damage.
Thursday, September 3, 9:36 p.m. — Larceny: A scooter valued at $50 was stolen from outside a business on Linnaean St.
Thursday, September 3, 10:09 p.m. — Larceny: A bicycle and lock valued at $830 were stolen from a bike rack on Massachusetts Ave.
Friday, September 4, 12:09 a.m. — Larceny: A suspect attempted to steal money from a tip jar at a Massachusetts Ave. business.
Friday, September 4, 7:48 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: Officers responded to Concord Ave. and Corporal Burns Rd. for a motor vehicle crash; minor injuries were reported.
Friday, September 4, 8:29 a.m. — Arrest: A woman was arrested at a Mt. Auburn St. business after being found on the property despite having been trespassed on multiple prior occasions. Estefani Diaz-Lemus, 21, of East Boston, was charged with Trespass After Notice.
Friday, September 4, 9:05 a.m. — Arrest: Officers responded to a Massachusetts Ave. business where a woman had refused multiple requests to leave and at one point blocked the main doorway, preventing customers and employees from entering or exiting. Alyssa Joyce, 32, of West Brookfield, was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing.
Friday, September 4, 9:23 a.m. — Larceny: A bicycle valued at $500 was stolen from outside a business on JFK St.
Friday, September 4, 10:43 a.m. — Hit-and-Run: A vehicle was struck while parked at Avon St. and Shepard St., causing damage.
Friday, September 4, 12:18 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $35 in merchandise from a Massachusetts Ave. business and fled before officers arrived.
Friday, September 4, 1:45 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $30 in merchandise from a Massachusetts Ave. business and fled before officers arrived.
Friday, September 4, 1:58 p.m. — Shoplifting (Third Offense): A suspect stole approximately $210 in merchandise from an Alewife Brook Pkwy. business and fled before officers arrived.
Friday, September 4, 2:40 p.m. — Assault with a Dangerous Weapon: Two people got into an argument on New St. after one reportedly broke into an electrical box; one person alleged the other had a firearm, but no weapon was located.
Friday, September 4, 2:59 p.m. — Assault: A victim on Temple St. reported that an unknown individual attempted to hit them.
Friday, September 4, 3:18 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: Officers responded to Broadway and Prescott St. for a crash involving a scooter; one person was cited and no injuries were reported.
Friday, September 4, 3:25 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $10 in merchandise from a Massachusetts Ave. business and fled before officers arrived.
Friday, September 4, 3:26 p.m. — Hit-and-Run: A vehicle on Granite St. sustained scrape marks and a dent; the striking driver did not remain at the scene.
Friday, September 4, 3:45 p.m. — Scam: A Cambridge resident reported being scammed out of $12,000 by a caller posing as a police officer who demanded payment to resolve a non-existent court case; the incident was reported as past.
Friday, September 4, 4:56 p.m. — Hit-and-Run: A vehicle was struck while parked on Belmont St., causing damage.
Friday, September 4, 5:15 p.m. — Larceny: A scooter valued at $350 was stolen from outside a Massachusetts Ave. business.
Friday, September 4, 5:38 p.m. — Illegal Dumping: An unknown person left several mattresses outside a building on Thorndike St.
Friday, September 4, 6:03 p.m. — Vandalism: A window on a vehicle parked on Roberts Rd. was shattered.
Friday, September 4, 6:40 p.m. — Breaking and Entering, Motor Vehicle: A Broadway resident's vehicle was broken into in a parking garage; a wallet containing $350 was stolen, and the cards inside were subsequently used in multiple unauthorized transactions.
Friday, September 4, 6:42 p.m. — Scam: A victim on CambridgePark Dr. paid $8,000 to a caller posing as a law enforcement officer to resolve a non-existent court case.
Friday, September 4, 8:29 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: Officers responded to Cambridge St. for a motor vehicle crash; no injuries were reported.
Friday, September 4, 8:35 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole approximately $305 in merchandise from an Alewife Brook Pkwy. business and fled before officers arrived.
Saturday, September 5, 9:06 a.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $116 in merchandise from a Somerville Ave. business and fled before officers arrived.
Saturday, September 5, 9:15 a.m. — Breaking and Entering: A Huron Ave. resident reported a breaking and entering involving an ongoing dispute with a neighbor.
Saturday, September 5, 9:52 a.m. — Suspicious Package: Officers responded to Fuller Pl. for an unattended package; the Explosive Ordnance Unit inspected the item and determined it was not hazardous.
Saturday, September 5, 10:32 a.m. — Package Theft: A resident reported a package containing $120 in merchandise was stolen from the front of a Prescott St. residence.
Saturday, September 5, 10:49 a.m. — Hit-and-Run: A vehicle was struck while parked on Jefferson St., causing damage.
Saturday, September 5, 11:46 a.m. — Larceny: A CambridgePark Dr. resident reported that a package expected to contain $2,500 in merchandise arrived empty.
Saturday, September 5, 1:28 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $500 in merchandise from a CambridgeSide Pl. business and fled before officers arrived.
Saturday, September 5, 3:08 p.m. — Larceny: A bicycle and lock valued at $380 were stolen from a back patio rack at a Clay St. residence.
Saturday, September 5, 3:46 p.m. — Arrest: Officers approached a man on Seventh St. and Cambridge St. after receiving reports he was yelling at passersby; during the interaction he spit on two officers. Michael Bonislawski, 60, of Cambridge, was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.
Saturday, September 5, 8:54 p.m. — Traffic Violation: A Stoughton resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges related to operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle on a public roadway, following a traffic stop at Massachusetts Ave. and Sidney St.
Saturday, September 5, 11:19 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A cyclist on Quincy St. reported being struck by a vehicle while making a turn and sustained minor injuries.
Saturday, September 5, 11:50 p.m. — Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon: An unknown person sprayed pepper spray on several people inside a crowded bar on Massachusetts Ave.
