National Night Out Draws Cambridge Out As ShotSpotter Vote Takes Hold
Cambridge police and community partners are gathering Tuesday evening at Donnelly Field for National Night Out, coming just days after the City Council voted to temporarily restore the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system, a move that formalizes a debate the council had been weighing since the killing of a city worker.

The City Council's vote this week to temporarily restore ShotSpotter, first reported as a possibility in recent days, has now been finalized, according to a Patch report.
