Cambridge Sees 13 Property Sales as Trust Transfers Mark Nearly Half the Month
Cambridge recorded 13 property sales between July 17 and Aug. 15, with eight showing disclosed prices ranging from $615,000 to $2,925,000 and a median of $1,162,500. The month's top sale was 20 Chalk St at $2,925,000, purchased by Chalk Street LLC from the Nora B. Leahy Trust. Seven of the 13 transfers were condominium units, and five involved matching family names between seller and buyer with no price disclosed, consistent with trust or estate transfers. No street recorded more than one sale, so no geographic cluster stood out this period.
